Murney Tower Pulled Pork

Set the slow cooker to High. Place the pork into the slow cooker and season top and sides with salt, pepper, and onion and garlic powders. Pour 1 ½ cups of the Belgian Ale into the bottom of the slow cooker and place the lid on top. Drink remaining Belgian Ale.

Cook pork on high for 1 hour. Reduce slow cooker heat to low and continue to cook for 8 hours or overnight.

Remove pork from the slow cooker and shred using a pair of forks. Discard extra juice and rinse slow cooker crock. Return shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir bbq sauce into the pork. Cook on medium for 1 hour.

Optional: Top with shredded sharp cheddar, caramelized onions, fresh coleslaw and a cold, locally-crafted beer.
